Dear Craig Wright, can you make your next article one which describes with some supporting evidence, your claim that 8 minutes and change is the optimum amount of time to target transaction-fee mining rewards (for BitCoin at scale)? I just figured out your sawtooth pattern for block-rewards (at scale) and what it incentivizes, just this morning, and the 8 minutes is the only proof I have left to understand most of the meanings behind the protocol.
I get that 15 seconds doesn’t work, but not sure why 8 and change is better than say 11 minutes or 6 minutes. It’s honestly the biggest hole in my knowledge at this point.
